What we are doing to the environment is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another

What Is High Blood Pressure?

High blood pressure or hypertension is a blood pressure reading of 140/90 mmHg or higher. Both numbers are important.

Nearly 1 in 3 Indian adults has high blood pressure. Once high blood pressure develops, it usually lasts a lifetime.

High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it usually has no symptoms. Some people may not find out they have it until they have trouble with their heart, brain or kidneys. When high blood pressure is not diagnosed and treated, it can cause the following:

The heart gets larger, which may lead to heart failure.
Small bulges (aneurysms) form in blood vessels, leading to hindrance in free circulation.
Blood vessels in the kidney tend to narrow, causing slowing down of the excretory system, decreasing urine output and ultimately leading to kidney failure.
Arteries throughout the body to "harden" faster, especially those in the heart, brain, kidneys, and legs. The possibilities are more with the deposit of cholesterol along the inner walls of blood vessels. This can cause a heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, or amputation of part of the leg.
Blood vessels in the eyes tend to burst and bleed causing vision changes

What Is Low blood pressure ?

Blood pressure that is too low, ie below 110/78 is known as hypotension. Low blood pressure may be a sign of severe disease and requires urgent medical attention.

When blood pressure and blood flow decrease beyond a certain point, the perfusion of the brain becomes critically decreased (i.e., the blood supply is not sufficient), causing light-headedness, dizziness, weakness and fainting.

What is Cholesterol ?

Cholesterol is a a lipid (fat) found in the cell membranes of all body tissues, and is transported in the blood plasma of all animals. Trace amounts of cholesterol are also found in plant membranes.

Most of the cholesterol is synthesized by the body and some has dietary origin. Cholesterol level in blood is not raised by increasing the amount of cholesterol in the diet. Cholesterol is more abundant in tissues which either synthesize more or have more abundant densely-packed membranes, for example, the liver, spinal cord, brain, and atheromata (arterial plaques). Cholesterol plays a central role in many biochemical processes, but is best known for its association with cardiovascular disease . Cholesterol is insoluble in blood, but is transported in the circulatory system.

In recent years, the somewhat imprecise term "bad cholesterol" has been used to refer to LDL (low-density lipoprotein) which is thought to have harmful actions, and "good cholesterol" to refer to HDL (high-density lipoprotein), thought to have beneficial actions.

The good news is that all these three disorders can now be safely and effectively controlled

Ecohealth Gold is herbally treated, iodised table salt that regulates Blood pressure and controls Cholesterol. It is regular iodised, vacuum-dried iodised table salt that is processed with a combination of six proven medicinal herbs. Gold Salt can also be safely consumed by non patients and even little children.
